Thumbs up Locked Up In West Virginia

This is the title of a brand new publication. The first Issue was out July 1 2008 (Moundsville WV) and has apparently sold out in one day.
The paper is full color spread of everyone that was arrested in WV in June /08
showing the picture and whether they were charged with a Mis. or Felony.
There is also a Sexual Offender section listing the town they were arrested.

I know this is public information and you can see it daily on wvrja.com per institution and most states publish to the internet similar pics. but these people are innocent till proven guilty arren't they?
In any case I think each state will pickup on this eventually. Wish I had thought of it first!

They used to have something like that in the city of Lexington, KY but it died a slow death. I think there wasn't enough advertisers...it was a free paper.

I can't remember the name of it but the guy was selling franchises for other cities around the nation. He even had an online version for awhile.

Yup, that was the paper. During Annual Training I would pick up a handful and take it to the training center.

I like this idea....maybe if more places did this, people might think twice before proceeding with stupid criminal acts.

Most criminals like seeing their name and picture in the highlights....I think it is a great idea though!
