beans, I joined this right when it opened. But, then I got to busy for the net and all. Of course it didn't help that I was on military leave for 7 months. I'm just getting back into the swing of things.
I guess the sign up sheets have been 4 pages plus. I work with a couple OT whores and they are having a tough time getting their fill. I hear we're going back to the whole "extras" on all shifts again till F and G open this summer. I do believe it's more of a funding thing than a staffing thing. I hear we are straight up out of money.

Welcome back and thanks for serving.

I'm sure you're right, but then why don't they say that? Don't you think a poor co can understand money problems? I just feel like the administration is lying with their excuses and that bothers me.

Yeah there is a huge deployment state wide this summer. I don't know how many we're loosing, but with our expansion it's going to suck.

Luckily I just walked out the gate for the last time so I guess I'm off the mando list now

Yep, I'm done. I am starting as a US Customs Officer next week in Seattle. I had a great time, but I just can't see myself doing this at 59.
