BOP Metal Detectors
I read somewhere on the board where the new searching policy is addressed, but can't find it. So, please forgive me for starting a new thread on a topic already open. I'm just a F.N.G.
I found out the other day that my step-son's best friend's mom works in the Region. She came by today and picked him up for Boy Scouts and after a brief conversation about how they got a free T-Shirt in ART, I mentioned the WTMD and if they're using it. She stated that the SCRO doesn't have walk through metal detectors. When I told her that our captain told us that EVERY ONE (including regional offices) have the new WTMD she kinda giggled and said the captain lied and then tried the "Ooops I said too much" B.S. It first pissed me off about the free shirt. LOL |

WTMD are used in all LOW thru HIGH security facilities. The policy excludes camps, regions, and the central office.

the agreement says you will be searched if you are entering a secure perimeter, yet we are searched if we are only going up to the control window to get keys...
union told me to feck off. |
