No Doubt, thats what happened. We all have developed some bad habits, but we must maintain awarness! Either way tho, we are still understaffed at all the PEN's!

Re: Beaumont Staff

E-mail from the Union president at Beaumont, Issac Ortiz. Someone who wishes to remain anonymous forwarded this to me.

Quote:
On January 7, 2008 an incident involving inmates assaulting another forced a
use of deadly force at USP Beaumont. Please forward this to the other USP's.
This occured last nite, I was advised the officer in the tower did an
excellent job.

Tower 8 announced a fight in progress on the recreation yard, at which time
the officer activated the audible alarm for all inmates to lay down on the
yard. The inmates involved with the assault did not comply. The tower
officer, disbursed an aerial diversion round. The inmates still refused to
stop their actions. The officer perceived the life of the inmate being
assaulted was at risk. The officer used deadly force and fired a shot
hitting one inmate with the shot.

Ah, that explains the confusion. Someone asked me about shots fired at Pollock (which I hadn't heard). It must have been Beaumont instead.
