Bush also has stood by since 2004 and watched our officers dwindle on ever shift. If you think Mcbush with the beauty queen is going to make a difference for the BOP then I agree he will. The difference will be the same we have been looking at and why the BOP is in the worse shape ever. I have been in the BOP a long time and the last eight years have been the worse.

I am putting 8 Obama signs in my yard today.
Since you brought it up, I thought I would add this, for you to think about. Although if your mind is made up, you will do what you will do.

This comes from a Yahoo! News article on what is happening with the GOP convention because of the hurricane approaching the US.

McCain orders convention curtailed for Gustav - Yahoo! News

Responding to a question after his hurricane-related remarks, McCain made a ringing defense of Palin, who Democrats argue has less experience than their presidential candidate, Obama.

"I think Sen. Obama, if they want to go down that route, in all candor, she has far, far more experience than Sen. Obama does," McCain said.

He cited Palin's stint as governor of a "state that produces 20 percent of America's energy" as well as her previous membership in the PTA and her time spent on the city council and in the mayor's office in Wasilla, a town of fewer than 7,000 people outside Anchorage.

By contrast, he said Obama "was a community organizer when she was in elected office. He was in the state Senate and voted 130 times present. He never took on his party on anything. She took on a party and the old bulls and the old boy network and she succeeded."

Barack Obama, the name says it all! However, I wonder if they are celebrating the month of Ramadan at his house? Or better yet, since he works for the Government do you think he picked up his sack lunch this evening so he can fast? I think he has an identity crisis going on, he wants to take away our guns so he can protect his peeps in the middle east! I vote for Dirty Harry for President!

Really? A name says it all?

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't vote for Obama for any office, but not because of his name. If we were defined by the names our ancestors gave us, then I'd be destined to be an activist for Scottish independence.

I am amused at those who are nominally Christian and oppose Obama because they would "never vote for a Muslim!" Christians, of all people, should understand that it doesn't matter what religion you are born to, only what you are re-born to. Free will is the essence of freedom through Christ: you can only have it if you choose it, and if you choose it, nothing else matters.

Interesting that you should mention the above. I saw a documentary on Barrack last night. His Dad's first name was/is Barrack. Barrack's Dad, was pretty much a "father" who's picture was on a milk carton. Barrack's name in school, was Barry. Not sure why he went back to the name, Barrack. He has stated that he's not Muslim, but is of the Christian faith. I'm not voting for him either, but the documentary was interesting. I'm voting for the "hot" VP that McCain choose!!

Very true. True Christians, and Jewish people don't vote for humans who are for infanticide either.

I never said I was a Christian or a born again Christian. However, they have entertaining philosophies that I enjoy reading. I am Native, better known to the European Settlers as a Savage! The lowest life form of the time. And, damn proud of it!

Re: BOP funds

The interesting aspect that may open up is Obama's early days in Chicago.

When he began his "organizer" days, Larry Hoover (King Larry/Black Gangster Disciples, currently in ADX) was still in Illinois DOC custody and actively involved in "legitimizing" his involvement in Chicago with "Growth and Development" (GD-common initials). Obama was involved in "Project Vote".

Close "cousins" on the south side of Chicago. Hoover's influence was huge and many local politicians were pushing for his parole, chanting his plan of "Growth and Development".

Problem was Hoover got indicted on the Federal charges that he's now being entertained on. Scores of his crew went down too, we see their effect in the Pens and Mediums now.

Just wonder how close the "O" got to all this "organizing on Chicago's south side". Maybe someone local will check it out....

Part of my ancestry to my knowledge is Cherokee. Being proud of heritage isn't a sin to my knowledge. I personally think that there were settlers who went about things after a fashion that was not according to the Biblical texts, but that is long past now.

However, I still won't vote for someone who is for infanticide just to get more money in my wallet. Besides I still believe if you want more money in your wallet that you are better off looking to your US Representatives and Senators. Even if the POTUS is against something, that can be over come by a bi partisan majority vote through US Congress.
