That's what the initial problem was... this gal can hold her own... both her parents are BOP and she can handle a housing unit even though she is still a rookie...

She was more bothered by the fact that he would not leave the office. The inmate is here on a Psych study. He did not say a word during the whole incident, he just sat there in the chair with that "crazy" look in his eyes...

So he didn't struggle? I wonder if it was a Psych thing or the guy was just trying to lock up or go PC.

7/10/08 Still LOCKED DOWN. Some UNICOR , F/S, and laundry I/M's working. One special bus of 39 out to make room for the 20-25 locked up for SIS investigation. 2 gang leaders transferred to ALW. Word is we will come off LOCK DOWN Monday. We wouldn't want to interrupt this weekends golf tornament. Had a LT get hospitalized for 2 days by an inmate back in March(still not back to work). LOCK DOWN lasted 24 hrs. What kind of message are we sending?

On saturday (7/12/08) evening just before the 10pm count and lock down one of our Senior Officers was assualted by an inmate. The inmate punched him several times in the chest and then backed away trying to draw the officer into his cell. Some other inmates came to the officers aide and the officer was eventually able to restrain his attacker. When he was searched he had an 8-inch shank in his sock and two more in his mattress.
