I had a single female rookie 'shadow' me the other day, and she was saying how nothing was worth this "great paying job". So I told her that is what all the dirty staff say. Then I told her that if she ever gets that itch (sex) to let me know and I can direct her to one of the 40 officers that would be more than happy to take care of the itch for her and she will not have to worry about any indictment.

I guess I never understood what gives with that sh*t. I mean, pardon the terminology, but you wave it around and the dawgs will pick up on it and you will have a bunch of truck stop friends before the end of the shift.

This rookie seems like she has her head on straight, so I was trying to help her out. It is funny, she has been in IF for a few weeks, and they keep telling them what they are supposed to do, and then they make her shadow me, and I was like here is what you are not supposed to do! I explained all of the sh*t that would get her fired, i.e. computer and told her that after she checks her email, to log off. It is a trick bag waiting to happen. She was all gung ho at first and wanted to shake down inmates and their living quarters, so I gave her the inmate response, the other CO does shakedowns, today we learn how to keep your job.

Man, for real........ how many staff have we seen walked out in our careers..... in my experience, it was drugs, sex, porn, supplements, cell phones.......
Is all this stuff worth a loss of a job, and worse to be viewed as a total loser! I have known 11 staff who got walked out for being dirty, and honestly, I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire. You broke your trust to men and women who need you to have our back...... and you failed!
