Anyone know about Chicago
Ok so by now you guys know that I am trying to get in to Chicago... I have been waiting since Oct. I reapplied on Dec 28th like I was told to do... But I really don't have a big window to wait to see if they will ever call me... I know I work in civil service and there is no way to know how long these things will take and I know that's just the joys of the Job we do but if anyone knows if Chicago or any of the facility's in IL will be hiring by this summer I am just worried that I might never get the call and am running out of time...

I know enough about it to know that I would never go there. Try somewhere else if your 37th is approaching.

+1. Apply somewhere that is actively hiring and keep your eyes open for a transfer to Chicago if that is what you really want.
