Re: It's Starting...
Bobby Rush another anti-gun Chicago cynic who sits at the same table with Daley trying to figure out ways to stop gun sales to the public while gang bangers and dope dealers run the streets. Instead of funding programs to improve education, improve relationships between police officers and the community, and improving neighborhoods, Chicago's leadership would rather cry foul and raise taxes year after year. While concerned parents such as myself (bitter ex's fault) have to worry day after day if their kids are going to make it home safe from school, these idiots sit back and plot trying to use a dead child's name for sympathy votes.

Re: It's Starting...
I think the argument on the law will only apply to law abiding citizens is a great one. Also, being in law enforcement and military since 1988, I have yet to find a weapon that actually works all by itself. If they do make one, I doubt I would get it, damn thing might get mad at me one day, LOL
Why don't they just make stiffer penalties for the criminals?

Quote:
There is no possible way to make a gun, or anything else, childproof. Those who bother to know about such things as the assault weapons ban know that it was a ban on much more than assault weapons, and what they are proposing will be a ban on virtually every firearm in existence when one actually looks at the language of the proposals. Slick, very, very slick.
