I tried that. And I got bigger government, a greater deficit, war, torture, no energy policy and politicization of the Justice department.

Dems suck too though.

Do you really need to strip search someone who didn't pay parking tickets?

In a word....

Yes!

Those parking ticket guys carry guns, knives, drugs, syringes...

If they come into the jail as a part of their in processing...

OK... STRIP!

No, your absolutely right...I wouldn't expect a common criminal would stoop so low as to get arrested for a traffic violation just to smuggle in some dope for his homies knowing that he wouldn't get strip searched for such a minor offense.

Been in corrections long RedMan2?

Re: San Francisco Does it Again!

This is happening in more places than you'd think.....I would comment on what I am seeing locally, but being an open discussion I wouldn't want to put anything out there to give any would be clients any ideas or advantages if you know what I mean........its a security issue and I just don't like to discuss them in open forum....

My personal opinion....."STRIP DOWN, SQUAT, SPREAD, COUGH......DON'T ACT SURPRISED....YOU KNOW THE DRILL"

Why not? Why should anyone be exempt? Search everyone the same. No exceptions.. Part of being Firm, Fair, and Consistant.

Oh and lets try and not talk about war so much...

Absolutely, Those parking tickets may just be what they have been caught for, no telling what else they are up to. Heck I strip out "decent guys" everyday who are just in prison for child support, does the charge make them any less dangerous? No, they could be smuggling drugs or other forms of contraband into my secured unit (seg), or a weapon, if not to use themselves for someone else to use on ME, therefore I take no chances.

This ruling is ridiculous, if it stands, how long before it trickles down to state and federal facilities? where, you do have dangerous criminals but because they are being polite and respectful you don't have the right to verify that they aren't carrying anything to hurt me or my co-workers? If you don't want to go through the strip search, stay out of prison... bottom line ( no pun intended).
