USP-Atwater : Community Leaders threatened with arrest

I have been in the BOP for 18+ years! But I have 33 years of Govt service. It just does not surprise me to see what they are doing! As long as they can get away with doing what they are doing they are happy!.

What has happened in USP Atwater, had been discussed already, I myself have said it's just a matter of time and it has come to past. I am so disgusted with the BOP and Federal Govt. The day I retire will be a happy day for me.

As long as you are willing to move and are a company man or woman then they will continue to promote all of these 90 day wonders. Most of them do not have a clue, won't listen to line staff or to the good department heads. I see Wardens, that think they are God's and AW's think they are mini God's.

Unless the Director has some "cojones" and starts to run the BOP as it should be run, we are headed down a path of destruction.

I am sick and tired of dealing with incompetent Wardens, AW's, Department Heads and line staff.

Exec staff:
A. If **** hits the fan leave to another institution so new exec staff can say "that was not my watch"
B. Think security is cool but if the Region say we cut staff who cares my a$$ is closer to the front door than anyones and my work schedule is still that same.
C. Go along with whatever because I can always go with A if it does not work out.

Accountability! There are some good and some bad but when the bad comes out everyone gets screwed.

snakeman i've been retired 5 years in oct, and each day is like a breathe of fresh air ,from having to deal with the mindless b.s.. you are so right about the state of the "burro" .back in "the day" when i started you may not always agree with the admn. but at least you generally had a mutual respect for each other.unfortunately those days are gone,probably forever.

sounds like the warden is truely showing what a worthless prick he really is.hopefully rep cardoza can turn up the heat on this p.o.s, and just maybe he will do everybody including himself a favor and go play play a little russian roulette!!!!!

Shorti...of course it did. I would bet an entire year's O/T that McFadden and D.C. called this shot. Now, let's not fire too many rounds and oust Harley just yet. Cause, I would bet another year's O/T that his replacement will either be McFadden or White out of the Mid-Atlantic... then God help us all. We'll have to start every shift with prayer, snake handling, or some other extreme religious garbage.

Well, that was just my thoughts....I don't think anyone had mentioned that, so I just wanted to remind everyone that "most" Wardens don't really get to make the "Big" decisions.....
