You know...

Once you try to defuse a sh*t grenade and it blows up in your face...

You think...

Man that was really stoopid on my part...

I should have left it alone...

Just sayin...

They could have let these two in, when they started asking questions they could have told them.

"I would like to take the time to answer those questions after the meeting. There I can take the time to explain what is going on in detail..."

After the meeting he could blow them off or give them a lame excuse at that time...

Far Far less damage...

Sounds like the classic bureau answer...

If you don't like it, then quit...

Or he could have done the BOP 2-step. I'm not at liberty to discuss these issues at this time. I suggest you contact our Federal Bureau of Prisons Public Information Officer. Here, let me get his number for you...

I think what the Warden is doing is sad. I always thought the Warden's job is make sure the instiution is safe and secure. That inculdes staff. I thought wrong.

I'm glad the paper is picking it up.. I hope it helps too. Now people are going to wonder what the BOP is trying to hide from.

I guess they did not get the memo. "Community meetings are only allowed when there is something positive to say" The next time maybe they will learn a staff death is something the administration does not want to talk about. I am sure the exec staff ran away with their hands over their ears humming loudly.

I'm sure the Warden will pass the blame on to the Ececutive Assistant that told them they could not come to the meeting. I'm sure he will say "I didn't know"... that is the line he is famous for!

Don't everyone get yours short in a wad, this was an ISOLATED INCIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Warden is probably reading the newspaper and thinking "well that did not turn out the way I expected it to!"

Well maybe. Except in this case the people who were denied entry and threatened with arrest were responding to an invitation to attend from the institution.

"R.S.V.P."

The Meaning of R.S.V.P.

Quote:
What RSVP Means

The term R.S.V.P. comes from the French expression "répondez s'il vous plaît", meaning "please respond". If R.S.V.P. is written on an invitation it means the invited guest must tell the host whether or not they plan to attend the party. It does not mean to respond only if you're coming, and it does not mean respond only if you're not coming (the expression "regrets only" is reserved for that instance). It means the host needs a definite head count for the planned event, and needs it by the date specified on the invitation.

The meaning of R.S.V.P.

We’ve all seen these four letters. We know they stand for something. We’re not really sure what, however. That’s why we always tell people to “please are ess vee pee.” They know exactly what we mean. We know exactly what we mean. But chances are, we both don’t know exactly what we mean.

But now, courtesy of Howstuffworks, we can all know exactly what those four letters stand for:

R.S.V.P. stands for a French phrase, “répondez, s’il vous plaît,” which means “please reply.” The person sending the invitation would like you to tell him or her whether you accept or decline the invitation.

You’re welcome. Now you can tell people, “répondez, s’il vous plaît,” and when they look at you with a blank stare, you can sigh and say, “Oh, please ARE ES VEE PEE,” (even though it is so internationally redundant.)
