Man after my own heart! I am always on my staff to recycle or save it. In this case, I agree recycling is appropriate! lol

If that inmate is going to throw piss, ****, silverware, and everything else then that is what they deserve to be feed. They will get over it and eat it or they will starve. That is there own problem not ours.

I heard the loaf is much better when you step on it and slide it under the door!

So long as it didn't have fish in it, it wasn't too horrible. The breakfast ones were actually good. Of course, at the DB, they just took whatever was in the meal, chopped it up and cooked it into a bread loaf, so it didn't have all the dehydrated "what-nots" in it that VT uses.
We use foodloaf also...........the thing might look like crap........especially if they had grape koolaide that day.

I too have eaten one or two. We chopped, blended and put some flour in the entire meal and baked the crap out of it. Now we have a box or two of prepared loaf......just waiting for the next guy to toss at us.

Unless we as correctional practitioners speak up to law makers, eventually they will declare the loaf unconstitutional. The prisoner rights activist will have another feather to stick in their cap.

Here's an idea. Instead of opening a food slot to feed the turd fondler, keep it closed. don't feed him if he is going to $hit you down. If an inmate is standing by the cell door, with a cup-o-crap, saying he is going to slime you, don't feed him. By opening the food slot, you are puting your self and others in danger, due to the turds actions. Keep the food slot closed, write the paper work, let the OPS LT know what is happening and write down he had the oppertunity to eat, but was going to assault me if I opened the food tray. Problem solved.
