He's a bit slow...

Loaded Weapon Smuggled Into Pontotoc County Jail
kten.com
Last week in Ada, Pontotoc County Sheriff's officials found a loaded pistol that had been smuggled into one of the jail cells. Officials say the weapon was passed through an air vent on top of the jail's roof.KTEN's Hailee Holliday reports. Within hours of the pistol's arrival into the jail cell, Pontotoc County Jail staff conducted an unannounced shake down of inmates by checking their cells for illegal contraband and weapons. The staff found the loaded weapon under an inmate's mattress resulting in a full investigation on how the weapon got inside the jail.
Within 24-hours of recovering the pistol, officials learned that an inmate's girlfriend and her friend had dropped the pistol down into the vent shaft and an inmate trustee delivered it to the inmate in his cell. Pontotoc County Undersheriff, Joe Glover, says he commends the jail staff on their quick efforts to recover the pistol, knowing the situation could have ended badly.
Glover, says, "This was a potentially very serious situation. The cell that the weapon was found in currently had someone in it for first-degree murder. There was an inmate that was already convicted and sentenced to 100-years, so obviously he would have nothing to lose, so yes this was a very serious situation."
19-year-old Victoria Leigh Pipestem was arrested for criminal conspiracy and bringing contraband into a jail facility and 22-year-old Victoria Jo Barnosky was arrested for criminal conspiracy. The inmates, who were both in jail for a laundry list of drug charges, are 34-year-old Richard Goodman and 23-year-old Notice Burns who are charged with criminal conspiracy. Both inmates will be arraigned Monday at the Pontotoc County Courthouse for additional charges.
