Escape FCI Three Rivers

Inmate escapes from Three Rivers federal prison : Corpus Christi Local | Caller-Times |

THREE RIVERS — The U.S. Marshals Office in Corpus Christi is looking for community help finding Adam Villarreal, who escaped from the Three Rivers Federal Prison Camp on Sunday between midnight and 3 a.m.
Villarreal was serving a 156 months after being convicted of possession with intent to distribute 5kg or more of cocaine in Dec. of 2003. The escaped inmate has a criminal history of possession of controlled substance, unlawful carrying a weapon and thefts.

Most of Villarreal’s family reside in the San Antonio area, however and intense search for him in the San Antonio and surrounding areas have produced no results.

Villarreal is at 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds. He has tattoos on his right arm, chest, right hand, and a scar on his left hand. He is considered dangerous.

U.S. Marshals ask the public to call their local police dept. or the U.S. Marshals at 361-888-3161 if they spot Villarreal.

gee makes does any one else see the flaws of keeping a thug so close to his family? Oh, another silly question if he is so dangerous why wasn't he in an FCI instead of a FPC???? It seems to me that since he had so much time to do why not take off and run from the law for a while.. I guess campers need a hoby too and yea he is a big fella.

Kind of like the story about a cop killer that a Sheriffs department in Ga had cornered in the woods. He took a shot at the Officers and they shot him about 56 times. The media asked the Sheriff, "why did you guys shoot him 56 times". The Sheriffs reply "Because we ran out of Ammo". Freaking awsome answer.

If he "escaped" from a camp, isn't that considered a "walk-off" instead of escape? At our institution, we aren't allowed to shoot campers and when they leave without finishing their sentence it goes down as a "walk-off" not an "escape".
