New Equipment???

New Equipment???
We had Sparkman the Director of Laundry & Supply come by our unit today. He took pictures of our equipment in both laundry and the kitchen. Apparently they are trying to decide were to spend $850,000 for new equipment. I was told that they had reqested $10,000,000. It does not look good for us in the laundry to get anything new since we have been managing to get by with what we have.

Well we finally got the Speedqueen 250 repaired. It has only been down for 11 months so I guess we got lucky. However the repairmen said our other Speedqueen 250 was actually in worse shape than the one they fixed. So now we are waiting to see if they will authorize this one to be fixed as well.

It is a comercial washing machine that can hold up to 250 pounds of clothes.

We have offender workers who do all of the work, I just supervise them in a professional manner at all times!!!
