Start acadmey Tomorrow 2-4-10

Well day 2,3 and today!
We had lots of the subjects of the training manuel, Wellness,TDJC overview, and History,CPR,Fingerprints(they took them),lots of war stories from sgt Godwin and sgt Smith, Sgt varges
is on vacation till Monday, we have been reciting the Mission statement as a group and some have been called to say it alone, by thier T #'s at random.
Lots of loud talking and not standing up before speaking and being disrespectful of the staff, I'm sure the s$%# will hit the fan soon, we were fitted for our uniforms and get them Thursday. we have a blood drive tomorrow and more classes from the study guide.,.
The study guides are easy and the test are offf the answered questions of the study guide. we have a test every Monday on what was covered the week before..50 questions worth 100 points or 2 each..

Tomorrow the demerits will start flying! and Monday they will really fly from SGT Vargas!

The Byrd unit, was toured by us today,..Not at all, representive of the units ,most of us, will be assigned to. Only 2 people will be assigned to the Byrd . But I found it very educational.

I'm still excited and can't wait till I can get to my unit and start the OJT..I know that Ferguson is a different world from Byrd.

Sorry so slow to respond my modem and cable have been tempremental for the last couple of days. My bags are pretty much packed. I will be leaving this Sunday 02/14 around 2:00 pm. See you there.
