Would you like to swap knowledge with a London Officer?

I've been a Prison Officer in Her Majesty's Prison Service (UK-HMP) for 14 years now, and all in London. I've just found this group, it's fantastic, and would like to learn a little bit from my cousins over the "pond" on how it's done in the USA.

Not just from new CO's in training but from the more established and the Vets as well (I'll post on another forum for that specific info), but there's some things that interest me that you new guys can help with (the basics of the way you all do it - is it like we do it?) and may be learning now. So if you will allow me then I'd like to watch and join in with your posts on this rookie forum. I think it's the best way to learn really.

Please remember, I'm not a rookie, I'm a 14 year Brit Officer just trying to learn a bit from you guys on how things are done over there. Maybe I can even give a little piece of advice every now and again and likewise?

I'd love to hear about your training/early days tales?

See if you can get verified and I'll answer whatever you want. Until then I'll answer your questions but only to a point.

I too am tired of getting into a trick bag.

Welcome, please go through the verification proses. How does someone from across the pond find a site like this? There was an officer from Briitian who I asked the same question too and never got an answer.

Good luck, look forward to conversing with a verified Officer from the great country of Briton.

Man the guy just signed up give him a break. How stuck up you all act its no wonder new members disappear.Just a thought but I think you should make someone feel at home a little bit. There should be a time limit before you start poking at them.Crayers, I have an Idea how he found this site THE WORLDWIDE WEB.
