Actually they have stood the test of time, but were frustrated like the rest of us with how the old administration was hugging the pen thugs.

Even the "L" "T" has and is performing better then when LVN went from a Pen to a Medium. He was EW Ops for 2 quarters while I ran the Compound during the same time, and backed up every Officer when we had an incident, and justified the immediate Use of Force every time it was used.

I guess I'll have to start a new thread on the Change of Administration and place a couple of neat stories in them.

Most of em are PC cases by now..........luv it though ship 10 out get 30 in and the cycle continues...

Do they offer any type of hand to hand control training, or self defense in DOC? The reason I ask is say someone attacks me or another officer, do i have the right to do anything needed to restrain him short of killing him, as long as its justified. ie. break and arm or a leg (yes some jujitsu/combative) to stop an attack. Is this something I could lose my job over?
