Re: Show us your pets

Lots of chocolate labs out there. My wife is a groomer, and recently had a 14 year old chocolate who proved that no matter how old they get, they stay at that "9 months old and stupid" stage, forever.

Re: Show us your pets

My lab is super smart. He learns every thing on his own, and I think he knows english to. he knows all the names of the rooms in the house and he has a girl friend across the street at my friends house and we can open the front door and tell him to go to daisys house and he goes over and barks at the door till they let him in, and then after a while they tell him to go home and he comes back.he can take out the trash( only small stuff) and know where the mail is but we can't get him to use the key to open it YET....

Re: Show us your pets

I've shown some of the dogs, here are three of our four cats (the fourth one isn't really ours, just a long-term "loaner", and is too shy for photos).

Cisco is the gray one, our senior cat at 10 years old. DC is long-haired, and Marshall is the yellow tabby. DC is HUGE, and he's not fat (just a lot of hair in winter). In the pic of him on the ottoman, keep in mind that the ottoman is 24" wide! He also has the world's longest tail, it's just tucked up under him in those pics.

Those are some chunky kitties! I love em. Yes, I'm a guy, and I love cats. But my fiancee is terribly allergic to them!

Awww...how much does Dc weigh?? My cat is like 14 1/2 to 15 lbs, and this cat looks twice her size?!

Re: Show us your pets

In the summer, DC drops to about 15 pounds and loses almost all that hair. He's very long-legged and rangy. When he bulks up for winter he's about 19-20 pounds, and a LOT of hair. Funny thing about him is that we had him neutered pretty young, so his voice never changed. He's got a tiny, squeeky little high-pitched meow.

Cisco is a pretty big cat, and maybe gets up to 15 pounds in the winter. Marshall is just a rangy little ol' tabby, probably not over 8 pounds, tops. Hasn't been cut yet, so he's annoying, too. Always yowling.
