Myself and one of my other Sgt's from my shift are on here and we both love it at Greensburg. I am only hoping to transfer for the promotion and the gas savings. That would rock, I already talked to the guy in charge of placing people there Joe, and he said as soon as I take the test to call him and he would put me there, acttually I would love to have the shift you have right now. I have 3 kids and would like to spend alot more time with them (4 deployments) i havent been around much.
How is it there loud crazy, or is it laid back. Im a soldier so laid back is a little more acttivity than most would concider. Ill be out of harms way in a few months and I just want to prepair myself as much as possible for this job.
I read alot about crazy guys cuting thier sacks open and such that happen alot there or is it not so bad.

If you could please tell me all the steps. I know about the test which I am hoping to fit in around the time i go on leave in AUG-SEP so its out of the way. How does the academy work? 6 weeks I think I read, but do i get to go home very day or on the weekends at least. Seems they offer alot of other training there as well, rifle and cell movment, would those be included or something i could take on my own at a later time.
Just trying to make sure I have a full understanding of what I am getting into so I can say "babe its only a few weeks away and ill be back on friday it beats the 15mons we were just apart"
And if anyone can tell me how the military buy back for retirement works. Ill have 9 years in what can i get back I am sure its not all 9 years, though that would rock i could do 11 and get 50%
