Five flee state prisons
BOLEY, Okla. (AP) - Four state prison inmates remained at large this evening after five inmates escaped from two separate prison facilities.
Authorities say one inmate, 40-year-old Danny J. Cook, was recaptured. Officials say Cook, who escaped from the William S. Key Correction Facility at Fort Supply this morning, was arrested in Enid as he talked on a pay phone at an Enid gas station. Two undercover detectives noticed Cook, who was wearing a shirt that said "Inmate." The shirt had been turned inside out, but the word was still visible. Meanwhile, authorities in Boley are searching for four men who escaped from the John H. Lilley Correctional Center about 1 p.m. today. The inmates were identified as Christopher Caskey, Jack L. Weems, Ricky D. Parks and Bobby J. Stow. |
