Re: No Longer Inmates, Now Offenders
I doubt that even a Democrat controlled Congress will stoop so low as to force us to refer to criminals as "Clients" or "Offenders."

Re: No Longer Inmates, Now Offenders
Sorry Dear. ALL Democrats at the national level are liberals, whether they want to be or not. The last one who wasn't was from Oklahoma's Third District. His name was Bill Brewster and he quit in disgust.
However, as liberal as they are, they still don't stoop so low as to make us call thugs "Offenders" or "Clients" the way those Democrats who run the Oklahoma DOC & legislature do. |

Re: No Longer Inmates, Now Offenders
Actually, the Republicans are lead the state House and share the lead for the Senate. So you need to check you facts. Also, most of the Democrats in Oklahoma are not liberal. Also, there are many Democrats that have served the state that are not liberal. We currently have Dan Boren. Other moderate Democrats have been David Boren, Mike Synar, and Brad Carson. Our current governor Bradf Carson has been bipartisan.

Re: No Longer Inmates, Now Offenders
Offender!?!?! Well.... I am just offended that you have to call a convict an offender. Still just good ole bottom feeding convicts here. Don't expect we'll ever call them offenders under this administration.... locally speaking that is.

I'm betting that you don't have more than a handful of true convicts there.

Re: No Longer Inmates, Now Offenders
I noticed earlier when I looked at the OP about tobacco that they are changing the OP's to read "offender". What a worthless waste of time, money and effort. I wonder what the tax payers would have to say about the amount of money it's going to cost to re-word everything with the word inmate on it? Clothing alone will cost a fortune, a fortune that OK doesn't have. There goes our raise folks!
