This goes to show how someone not following policies can get someone else killed. The C/O killed in this incident was not the one who screwed up.

I know being from the Texas system the rule is 30 feet while mounted on horseback and unfortunately it wasnt the one who screwed up who got killed. This should be a major reality check on people who don't take this job seriously.

So very, very sad. And hits close to home. I am still waying the pros and cons, of transferring to the TDCJ. And working on horseback would be a dream job.
