Thank you for the well wishes. Its an election year. I figure with all the heat his azz is fixin to get into over the bureau's situation he will kinda slide right out. If they just blow this one over we can get them by the balls, and force them all out. If the publicity stays like this, and the bureau keeps making promises, they renig, we raise hell and tell the public again what was promised and what happened. They are already starting it. I know damn well they meant to have an additional officer in every housing unit, and it has already been blown over as a floater. These changes sounded good and rescuing like, but the whole thing is starting to smell like inmate lover already.

correct me if i'm wrong chuck,but a change in admn dosen't always mean a change for us.sometimes the bop will move for a different director in hopes that they can get who they won't in lieu of the new president appointing someone who he would like to have,,,help here i'm not on familar turf...,

The two inmates suspected of killing Rivera, James Leon Guerrero and Joseph Cabrera Sablan, haven't been charged.

Meanwhile down in Florida, the thug who raped and murdered an officer after Rivera was killed has been charged, indicted by a grand jury, and the prosecutor has announced he's seeking the death penalty.

I expect DoJ and the AUSA to announce charges against Sablan and Guerrero in, oh, about a year or so. Trial probably won't start for at least 3 years.

while i commend the prompt action by the prosecutor in florida,i always thought the feds were suppose to lead by example ie, prosecution of brutal murderers in officer riveras case.oh excuse me, u.s. attorney are only prompt in pushing fraudlent cases against bop staff!!!!!!!

Not sure if my posting here on ATW-Hack's thread is the proper place for this announcement, (Administrator - If not, then please move to appropriate location), but

the "Friends and Family of Correctional Officers" USP-Atwater, have their web site up and running. We want to thank our webmaster, who spent the last two days to get it going. We will have to tweak it here and there, but for the most part it's deisgned for the groups needs. We're always open for suggestions.
