My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and co-workers. May God put a blanket of peace and comfort among them and may His vengeance rain hard, HARD on the perps that did this.

Rest in Peace my brother

RIP brother. My thoughts and prayers with the family. Just goes to show people, our job just doesn't end after we leave the walls.

Bond IN Blue

Someone I have never met, Someone I never knew.
Different Prison, Different Cells, Different Crew.
You name I never mentioned, Your actions I never read,
Yet the sight of this news fills my life with dread.
A brother. A sister. Someone with me in blue.
Different Beat. Different Walls. Yet the same is me as you.

Together we fought this endless battle.
We heard and direct them like useless cattle.
The gates all slam and shut the same,
We pray and pray what we do is not in vain

Now their shift is over, once come and forever gone.
Believe though your brothers and sisters will always carry on.
Although the pain is horrible and sometimes hard to bare.
Day after day, on the tiers they will see us there.

It is not for them we are there, doing what we do.
Its for our pride, our life, and to uphold the memory of you.

RIP

C/O Cowles

That is why all C.O.'s should be able to carry to and from work and off duty. C.O.'s are normally treated as the red-headed step child of Law enforcement, normally being hassled about a weapon off duty. Probably a crack-head who recently had his sentence shortened, looking to score his next "hit''.
