Heineken DraughtKeg
So all of our stores, with the exception of the grocery store, closed a few months ago. The company that ran them was forced to close them because AAFES decided to come out here after neglecting us for over 50 years.
The AAFES shoppette opened yesterday to much fanfare and crowding resulting in super long checkout lines (well over an hour and at some points up to three). The old convenience store, called Ten-Ten, was poorly stocked and had very little selection so you can imagine peoples surprise when there was more than one type of soap! I was personally taken aback by the beer selection. I had expected quite a good variety, as AAFES usually keeps the Class Six pretty well stocked but what I didn't expect to see was the Heineken DraughtKeg. (pictured below) ![]() I just couldn't resist. How could anyone? So after trading $16.95 for five litres of Dutch beer in a tiny keg I went home and tapped it with the little kit that comes attached. Much to my dismay, instead of lovely pints of draught lager I nothing but foam and the damned thing leaks! I've tried pumping the beer every way that I can think of, but I can't seem to get it to work. I guess draught beer is too much to ask... ![]()

Well that sux. Hope that works out for you. At least you can buy beer there. I live in an area that they dont allow the forbidden devil water.

Re: Heineken DraughtKeg
Ok, I went and checked that thing out. Price is pretty good. However, the website doesnt say what you buy to put in it. Does it take small kegs, or do you pour the beer in it?
