Ladies and gentleman,children of all ages.Tonight at the stroke of midnight i will have completed my 10th year on the job.I am posting this because i am very happy to have made it half way without any real major incidents and now i am half way to retirement.

Congrats on the 10 years! I was able to make it to 20 without any major catastrophes, then I got out ASAP. Now I have a job I enjoy. Start preparing your exit plan now so you are not stuck at the end of your 20 years trying to find another job that pays anywhere close to what you are making now. I did, and I am all the better for it!

Glad to hear that you made 10 and planning on working on your next 10 now. I hope they are as safe as the first ones.
I am jealous of all of you with the 20 year retirement. Ours is 28. I could have retired 4 years ago :-(

I am jealous of all of you. In Texas our length and years of service have to equal 80, therefore due to my age and years of service I am going to have to do the full 30. Now, the fact is that I am half way there but it is still the full 30 instead of or 28 years. I hope all of us can make it out in good health (mental and physical). I do not know what I will do but I am sure I will think of something between now and then.
