Nervous For Review Board Tomorrow.....Any Suggestions?

hey guys, tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since i have tested. i gott the call last week from Alexander CI last friday (i thought that was extremely fast) and they asked if i could interview on tuesday 8/5.

i am picking my suit up first thing in the morning from the cleaners, i will of course be clean shaven and clean cut. i feel like i should greet the interviewers with a handshake and Hello, nice to meet you and thank them for their time on my way out. and i know i need to look them in the eye and speak in a confident but not loud tone when answering questions.........

but what else? can someone shine some light on what kind of questions i can expect?

Definitely shake their hands and say hello. Keep your answers short and sweet, but honest and with conviction. All you have to do is answer 10 pre-assigned questions, but they do judge your overall appearance, and generally are just watching you. They will take notes during and after you answer and you'll feel kindof nervous. Say yes sir and yes mam, but dont go overboard with that. You'll do fine, good luck.

When answering their questions watch your body language. Do not cross your arms, wipe at your face or nose/chin. Lean forward toward the question asker as to appear interested in them.

Try not to look down at the ground, up at the ceiling to often, smile alot and make plenty of eye contact.

Open hands, palms up are a sign that your being honest when making hand gestures.

You will do fine.

The interview is really nothing to worry about, it's pretty easy. Just be confident in yourself and carry yourself properly and you'll do fine.

My first oral board I was nervous. The 2nd one was a walk in the park. I look the speaker in the eyes when they are speaking and during my replies. The questions are not a problem. Now, wait to let them tell you to be seated, it is a paramilitary structure and it is becoming to letting them say "you may be seated", it also shows respect. Leave your cell phone in the car, bring proper Identification (drivers license). Be "fair firm and consistent" - a good bit of advice I recieved from a CO.

At all three intervews I've been to they said I can't look them in the eyes because there reading the questions and writing down my responses.
