how "thorough" was the physical? just curious, i sent my application in last week. and on the direct deposit thing, is that a "trial run" kind of thing?

how long has the whole process taken? i just got laid off a couple weeks ago so i am looking to start something soon.

It's taken a couple months since at least since I put my initial app in. Once I got the call though things have been progressing fairly quickly, with about week long intervals. The thorough physical means they had to do a rectal exam, in other words put a finger in your ass. I had a woman and she was quick so no biggie really, I just laughed about it.

Nope, in fact I didnt even know I had to get that done until she said "Okay now, they want us to do a hernia and rectal exam", and I was like "What??!!"

Well I looked on the medical eval sheet and it was on there to be done. I'm almost 30 so maybe that is why.
