Howdy
I will be testing for NVDOC, NVDPS, and NVDETR starting the week of June 21st. I cannot believe how accommodating NV was. I'm in no hurry to move as have 2 house payments. It's a struggle but we are making all our payments. Recruiter for DOC says process could take 6 mos. I don't know about the other two positions as far as time to hire. I'm with MODOC but will post in Nevada as that's where I'm headed.

It's Thurs. and we leave for Vegas Sat. and not even packed. We have all weekend off then two tests on Mon. and one on Tues. Then off to SoCal. for fast food....lol. I've applied for some SoCal Sheriff's Offices but haven't heard from them and we only have a week vacation.

On my way to Vegas today for DPS, DOC, & DETR testing starting Mon. morning. I will hit up Mervyn's for an interview outfit...wish me luck....I can't wait.

Post Testing
I just taken the written tests for NDETR & NDPS and the PAT for NDOC. DPS has a freeze going but, will take the PAT from DOC since they're both state.

Success with DOC & DPS. Failed DETR...WTF. Anyway, got a call yesterday from DPS and she said I passed written and will get a copy of PAT so she can setup interview in a couple of weeks...WTF, I thought there was a hiring freeze. Anyway, might have to take another trip to Vegas.
