Welcome to the group. I posted a response in the NC thread. I'm not sure how it is at each facility because in NC even though we all work for the same entity, each facility is unique. I work at Polk CI, this is how it went after my interview went well. I recieved a conditional offer of employment, which meant that if I passed my psych test (a super long myriad of questions that will make you nuts when you are done) a physical, and a drug test. When all of that was passed, I was called by personnel and set up a start date which is always a Monday at Polk. Then I arrived, got my uniforms, my id card, did my paperwork (tax forms and benefit stuff, and shift request) then I went out on the yard for the rest of the day (which is only a 8 hr. day not 12) Then I recieved my letter telling me what shift I was on and what day I had to return.
