Off Topic

I'm a CO in Missouri but, grew up in Augusta. My family lives all over the state. Lincolnville, Gardiner, Portland, and my brother used to live in Belfast. I miss Maine all the time. Easy to hide out in plain site...lol. Everyone just thinks your a tourist.

I miss Maine too. Although I didn't grow up in Maine.. I still love that state even with the cold winters. You should come back.

I've looked into MDOC and cannot afford to live the way I want on their salary. Vegas will start over 40K(degree and a yr. of experience) plus about the same benefits as I have now. Pretty easy getting family to visit Vegas than the other way around...lol.

P.S. You had me going for a couple of minutes anyway.

Why not? Theres overtime galore right now from what I hear.. And we have had a couple positions open up due to dirty CO's being caught... Actually I think Two Brides Regional Jail pays pretty darn good.

I think they start around $15-$16 per hour, much better then the State pays... I would've gone there when it opened but I like my 5min commute to work.

I appreciate the heads up. Vegas here we come. I will still visit Maine every year and try to get everyone to come to Vegas.
