I'm not saying you don't have Le Eme in TDCJ, but there are a handful of validated Eme in the country so I would be suspect of some of the dudes wearing that tat. Put em Calipratia and see how real they are.

One thing I'll add, the big sh!t's in EME usually aren't tatted up, they usually just where the black hand tattoo, that is a prerequisite to be a member, sorta like the AB and the shamrock.

I know all 6 or 7 of our Texas EMIs are locked up in SHU since the Three Rivers incident. But we still have plenty of the California EME flunkies, the Surenos, loose in GP.

I know the difference. There are EME in Texas prisons..at federal..My inital information was that it was EME not EMI...how ever they will both roll against the P's..

bot the Fed AB's and EME have been more tolerant of their state affilated gangs at least more so that in the past.

Either way, there are thousands of offenders wearing EME on them that are confirmed MM. There is no use to argue over it, but if it is a territorial like TEXAS MM, then I would hate to see a hit take place and put one of us in danger because of thinking they were not part of a certain gang. The info is there, do what ya want with it.

I was told by a staff memebr here who used to work at Three Rivers that she heard the inmates planned this well, that they knew it was the first day of some local fair and many staff take that Friday off (high leave use for staff).

Another update: We are still locked down (close to 4 weeks straight). What's funny about our (Tucson) situation is when we begin to move slowly off lockdown, a few inmates will start going at it and there goes our Superficial Intelligence Stragedy (SIS).
