Big Dawg U.S.P Leavenworth here. Hay make sure you shakedown all the dog kennels on the way out of the rear gate. What was up with that? Kind of a let down to all the fellow CO's. You guys still locked down after that commisary attack?

Dang, missed this post. I wasn't there when we "let the dogs out", but yeah the dog program is heavily scrutinized now. We remained locked down for about a day and a half. How's that for showing em who's boss?

Thats about Standard for El Dorado! Winfield lost one Wednesday night, Newscow - Correctional facility inmate escapes Wednesday I get a call from my Acting Lt. "Call K9 Winfield had an escape, and they need them ASAP" I call K9 our Sgt wasn't happy to hear from me, I found out later that our K9's are out of service until further notice because the previous handler didn't work them properly! grrrrrr I'm pretty sure Winfield appreciated that phone call from our K9 Sgt.

I'm not sure if they called Lansing or not. We don't have blood hounds anymore anyway. Our dog program really sucks now.

We have 2 dogs, a bloodhound and a Belgium Malinois I know we've sent them to Lansing before. Thats just disheartening that our dogs need sooooo much retraining.

Ours are all Belgian, I believe we have around 5-10. I blame our 1st Sgt mostly. They've cut the program back terribly. He's the only full timer. There are 2 other part time handlers as well.

We have 1 Full Time CSI Master Sargent, Staff Sargent what ever you wanna call'em and 1 Full Time COII Buck Sargent, Sargent what ever.

We used to have a COII in there as well. Supposedly nobody wants to work with the CSI. I can believe having met him.
