CharlestoWn. Which means it's not WV because there is Charleston (the capitol) and Charles Town (which is a small dinky city in the eastern panhandle). Since they meshed Charles and Town it's not WV.

I just happened to have lived near Charles Town for a few years and it was always a pain in the butt making the distinction between Charleston and Charles Town to people.
