First off, i don't want to hear any whining about making fun of rednecks b/c i am one...

For those that live in Oklahoma you all know this winter we had a lot of ice! This guy (co worker) has Direct TV, so he has a dish on his roof b/c he lives in the country. His wife was pregnant and liked to watch tv while he was at work. well with all the snow, rain, ice, wind, etc. they had a nice build up of ice on this satellite and could no longer get reception for TV. So he comes home from work and she says she was tired of being bored at home and tells him...i'm not shi++ing you...to get the extension cord and BLOW DRYER and go up there to defrost the dish!!! You might be a REDNECK if you climb a ladder with a bright orange ext. cord and blowdryer to defrost you satellite!!!

The funny part is that he admitted to actually doing it...in the rain and snow!!!

Hey, not smart, but he said it worked, they were able to watch Blue Collar Comedy Tour on Comedy Central that night!!LOL

Yep here in New Mexico we simply put cooking spray on the dish in the winter and all that snow and ice falls off.
