Hello all
Hello. My name is Chris, I am a recent applicant to the BOP at the Coleman location. I am 27 years old, a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelors in Criminology. I currently work for the TSA at the Tampa Airport.

I was curious, knowing Coleman is a very small town, where do most of the officers that work there live? Do they mostly commute from Tampa, Orlando, etc...?

Hey Chris. Nice to see another Floridian on the boards

As far as the living arrangements for the Officers at Coleman, Orlando, Inverness, and Ocala seem to be the big three places. I live in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area but I have family up that way. Coleman is a huge ass facility also so it draws people from all over.
