US Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General
Everyone participating in this forum, especially employees of the US Department of Justice, needs to be aware that investigators of the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General have visited this forum and will likely continue to visit this forum for as long as it exists. It is my opinion that high ranking members within the Department do not like the fact that this forum exists, and will use any legal tool at their disposal to harass and intimidate members, moderators, and administrators of WWW.PrisonOfficer.Org . The best way to provide them with a tool for harassing this forum out of existence is to discuss possible criminal acts or disclose information which can be construed as illegal by conviction hungry federal agents and prosecutors. Here's an example of what I'm talking about :

PO.org Legal Fund
With the recent events that I am sure people are aware of I and PO.org have had to retain the counsel of an attorney.

As PO.org is run solely by me and paid for out of my own pocket (and the pocket of numerous generous donations) this is going to threaten PO.org's existence. As the retainers and attorney fees rise it will remove funds from my bank account that I don't have (I am a state government employee after all!) and it will make it difficult for me to pay my bills.. let alone PO.org's.

If anyone would care to assist in the it would be greatly appreciated. I am unable to discuss any matters of the legal issues or disclose any information but I hope that with a little common sense you will know what the issues are and that they are indeed happening to everyone that comes to PO.org to post.

Any and all funds sent to the legal fund that are not used for the current legal issues will be placed in a trust for use in future events.
