From stuff like this happening in the past, I bet they won't put her where she knows that staff member....the BOP will be afraid of retaliation or of favoritism, and it does happen a lot......

True shakedownshorti, but the BOP is getting smaller and smaller. It seem any more that no matter what joint that you go to, some one knows some one. And in the case of this dirty staff, some one is just an e-mail away.

I'd lay a $100 spot that se turns into a snitch. Some of the former law enforcement that we have had here rolled big time.

How reliable is the Inmate Locator on the BOP website? According to that, she is at Bryan FPC in Texas.

This prison guard has sullied her institution, her state, other Correctional officers and the craft of Corrections, part art, part science. This job is not for everyone, it is not for the weak of heart mind or body. This isn’t a place just to collect checks or make friends with the incarcerated [or non-custody staff]; it takes a very peculiar individual to go into Corrections. They must have a heart of fire, a cool mind and a body of stone. I do not wish this woman harm I hope she is never able to step into corrections, detention, and law enforcement ever again.

In part I also blame the institution and all those other institutions for not searching officers and civilian staff and their belongs. Hell we got frisked each and every time we came into the secure area. And we were not aloud to even bring in a cup of coffee, period.

Same here. We went through a metal detector which you had to clear. That was a royal pain, having to take off your belt and at times your boots. We also had random pat-downs.

I'm surprised the BOP or any institution for that matter, doesn't shake down its employees. Its ashame one would have to do that. But, in todays day and age its necessary.

Re: Former Corrections Officer Sentenced To Prison

I will put the blame on the BOP for putting a prison in the middle of nowhere and then saying that you have to hire a certian % of people from the surrounding area, compoud that by having a bunch of slick talking dc inmates a administration who couldn't find there butt with a superpowered telescope and this is what you get. A young dumb female who shouldn't be working there in the first place not to mention all the other problems Big Sandy has had. Question: Crosstimbers, do you have acess to the after action report on the dead inmate that was in their SHU unit for over 24 hours??? Now if you folks want to read something that will make you say Huhhhh, here's the short version, inmate Killed in cell by cellies, no counts done for at least 3 shifts, no food passed out for the same amount of time, no 30 min checks done but the log books said there was (go figure). Lets see 5 officers, 1 Lieutenant and 1 Captain, put on the streets for investigation. How many different officers are doing time that used to work there? At least 3 or 4 that I can think of. so pat downs are the least of there worries.

I worked at Big Sandy when when she was caught she worked at a county jail with many of the officers at Big Sandy before they hired on at Big Sandy this was a big shock to them she was doing this and swore up and down she was not dirty at the jail and something had to happen, as for the murder in shu the after asction review is straight bull**** no capt or Lt or any officers seen any street time or anything counts and rounds were being done I know this for a fact . Was Big Sandy screwed up yes but not nomore than any other USP because the Bureau is weak when dealing with inmates and she is the only staff doing any time that worked there.
