Rookies do stupid things!
I was in the housing unit with lights off tonight around 11 pm. I stepped into a shower cell to search for contraband. I'm doing my thing, shining my flashlight, feelin' around and WHAM! I slip on the wet stainless steel shower floor. As I'm falling to the ground I grasp the only thing on the wall that could save me from a tumble to my tush, and sure enough - it was the shower faucet. The shower soaked me from head to toe and I had to come out dripping wet to face the other officer in the unit at the time. He now calls me "Slippy."

OMG this is hilarious!! I am picturing it and it is sooo funny. Is there a video? Would you mind to do a replay on video? Just so we can get the full effect. I would gladly use it as a training aid. ROFL

This wasn't me, I swear. During daywatch, a fire alarm starts going off in a housing unit. The unit officer, a rookie, hit his body alarm. Pucker factor was high for about 30 seconds!!!

hey Slippy put in for a medical...you can say that you are now afraid of stainless steel...causes you emotional stress to be in the presence...lol...just kidding, but that is funny...when i was in Maine DOC i was doing a perimter check and it was snowing like crazy...i was new and we where coming down a hill and the other officer i was with told to me watch out for the ice...i looked at him and said "what" just then i slipped and fell very hard i actually saw my feet as i was coming down...thrasehed the flashlight i had.
