Just a reminder that the ADX/FCC Complex and BOP will be the first story on 60 Minutes this Sunday (Oct 14th) right after the Patriots-Cowboys game. According to the producers, the segment will cover some of the inmates, staffing issues, and other problems that our past Attorney General said would be fixed but appear to still plague us. Please plan to view the program and tell your friends about it. Also, its not enough just to shake our heads in disappointment at the current situation. We need to call our members of Congress and ask for congressional field hearings to be held in Florence as soon as possible. What is happing in the BOP and other correctional systems across the country is fast approaching crisis proportions and Congress and our State Legislatures needs to be informed and take appropriate actions.
