I love effexor! You ought to give it a shot.....Celexa did nothing for me compared to Effexor!!! Like I said I never tooks meds until I started working for the Bureau!!!

I haven't heard very good stuff about Lexapro, has some bad side effects!!

Back in the 60's & 70's people took drugs to make the world a little bit more crazy!! Nowdays people take drugs to make the world a little bit more normal.

Effexor is great stuff but "HELL" when trying to come off of it. Most people end up staying on it for life.

Re: Can medication be disqualifying ??

How about another funny story from the Watchdog vault?

I had a surgery and after a few weeks I was able to function at work so they stuck me at the front entrance to screen the visitors. I was having a record day of turning away positive hits from the drug sniffin machine. I thought I was going to get "CO of the Year" for sure for keeping all these drugs out of the institution. It was one right after the next and they all pissed and moaned and I of course stood my ground and told them to kick rocks. This went on all day to the joy of the visiting room crew. Then as I sat there relishing in my fine work it dawned on me and I tested myself...BEEEEEEEEEP...positive. It was the Vicodin I was taking. Oops.

I haven't had that one for awhile. I tell them, "See the name on my shirt? Please spell it correctly. Thank you."
