I'm just curious what post Officers hate the most? Me personally is perimeter mobile.

DW working 2 posts. 1 officer 2 housing units with visiting going on and facilities trying to fix **** in the unit. Inmate work crews in the unit. All the passes. The brass making an appearance. Hot trash call. Mail bags to the unit. Getting paid less. Im glad others want this cause its not me.

Mine was always a Dorm living unit on midnights. Being locked in the unit with inmates who were not locked in a cell ALWAYS gave me the hebbe-jebbies...........Oh sorry with minimim outs inmates....but still gave me the shakes!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate working Visiting. Too many sacks and cracks for me.

My shift is 12 hours from 1800- 0615. I hated doing suicide watch because all you do is sit in front of the inmates cell and watch his medicated butt sleep. Then when shift change happens the oncoming shift is not looking forward to doing it so they drag their heels reliving you. I've also been inversed after shift to do suicide watch.. tired of a 12 hour night I have to go sit there for another 4 hous lol.

Dry Cell duty, hands down for me it's Dry Cell duty!!!!

Dry cell is bad but i've only had to do that for a total of 4 hours. thank god.

My most hated posts are, Towers and perimeter.

Anything DW because you make less money and the brass are always coming into your unit smiling shaking hands. And here the Warden makes rounds in the units for a weekly inspection and the first person they look at is the unit officer if the unit is F***** up and sanitation of the unit is not our responsibility it is the unit counselors responsibility.

How can anyone hate towers and mobiles? I would almost be tempted to take a demotion to work those posts again. Our towers have nice decks outside the glass enclosure, great on a nice hot summer day because you always catch a breeze. And vehicle patrol, how can you not like cruising around listening to tunes, screaming around the instituion with the lightbar blazing while answering perimiter alarms. Best of all both posts you get to play with guns and give you the hope that you might get to blast some dirty convict stupid enough to try to climb the fences (just kidding lol).

As far as posts I hate, OIC Recreation/Feeding. I had to do that last night, stand around the mess hall and then spend the rest of the night in the gym that reeks of dirty, sweaty, smelly convicts lol.
