Ontario Correctional Officers should sign this petition!

To the Legislative Assembly of Ontario;

We, the undersigned ask the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to pass Bill 51.

Bill 51 would proclaim a Peace Officers’ Memorial Day in Ontario, on the third Sunday of September each year, and erect a Peace Officers’ Memorial on or adjacent to Queen’s Park.

This Memorial would remember the many Peace Officers, from many Ontario Ministries, who have died in the ‘Line of Duty’ performing their sworn duties.

The families, friends, colleagues, and public have lost these Peace Officers, who paid the ultimate price, doing their duty, for more than 140 years.

Yea, thats long over due. Anything we can do on this side of the border to help you all out just let us know. Heck we can write some letter to canada to.

That sucks. The National Memorial in Ottawa includes all peace officers and so should the Provincial one in Toronto On.

I hope you provincial guys win this fight.
