To care or not to Care?

Just wondering, what's ya'lls take on supervisors caring about their paperwork, logs that are backedup, etc. more than making rounds and insuring our safety by taking someone to the bucket when they deserve it. I made a phone call to my supervisor about this inmate that made 3 three way calls using someone elses PAC # in one day. he told me to call SIS and let them deal with it. i did so, SIS said they would take care of it. Three days later, i look it up on TRU Fone and the guy is doing it again!! Ok, well i did my job and feel good about it, f-ing LOPS!!!

Okay i vented thanks!

Thats about all you can do. We do what we are supposed to and if the others dont, there is nothing we can do about it. Just make sure you log everything, and every step you took in the incident so you will be covered.

All I will say is that things aren't always as they seem. They may be doing something, but waiting for the right time to pounce.

Another good point. This may be leading to a "bigger fish". You never know.

Re: To care or not to Care?

I had one that I believed should have gone to the bucket, but the Lieutenant did nothing about it. Turns out the guy was trying to get out of going to court. I have developed a lot of faith in the Lieutenants here as my rookie year ticks on and have decided that they most likely know something I don't.

Your H drive can be erased. Goto local electronics stores and get a 1 or 2 GB thumb drive. Save everything to that, it is the only way to be secure.
