Don't forget that if you are trying to pack on muscle, you can't do it without carbs. They help to carry the protein into the cells. On top of that, they provide you with your basis of energy throughout your day and including your workout. A good ratio for putting on the muscle is 4 grms of carbs for every 1 grm of protein. It may seem like a lot but were talking about packing on muscle right? A good mix for toning and losing weight is a protein/carb/fat ratio of 40/40/20.
