From what I remember (and I could be wrong) you have to be an AK resident to apply for AK DOC. I looked into it a couple years ago, when my wife and I were thinking about moving up there. Unfortunately, I'm an Ohio resident, so I couldn't even shoot my resume up there.

I remember hearing something about that... but I think you could apply anyways & if they needed people they'd probably consider your application. I'm not sure....
