union dues

Anyone heard that our union dues are going the first the year? I heard they was but don't know how much there going up.

Sounds like a question for Crosstimbers he might be in the know. It seems like everything is going up why not our union dues.

I haven't heard of AFGE raising its tax. Your local could be raising it's portion.

Our local dues here at FCC Coleman went up during the middle of the year to 21.50 every paycheck.

Wow! That's high. Ours at Leavenworth are $15.50 I think.

the union here sent out a email stating the dues was going to go up $ 5 a paycheck everywere and that it was voted on and past at the convention this year that was the reason they said they were not giving out christmas gift cards this year because they were going to pay the $5 a pay check raise in dues for us.

Wow, we used to get a turkey for Christmas but that was stopped years ago....they quit giving out anything after that! Who else here has a union that actually gives their members something at the holidays?? Just curious!
