Outstanding. Now lets hope that it is all not just a bunch of talk. I will be honest here, as far as this has gone I don't have much faith in the union right now either.

Same here Gunner, IF they behave like the locals, we are hit.

Our local fights over trivial issues, and are self serving. It would be great to see them step up to the plate and knock a home run.

Since the BOP is all about policy, I am going to be giving them some help in pointing out some of those policies. So far I have been met with less than a warm reception...

This is just the start.

It is OUR time to start holding these administrations accountable for their actions or lack there of. If a majority of us would start holding them accountable on just the basic things it would make them VERY miserable...

1. Vacating posts.
2. Basic equipment
3. Basic security procedures
4. Basic hygiene issues for US and the INMATES (Control of MRSA which is rampant in some institutions)
5. How institutional money is spent. And what it is spent or not spent on.
6. Facilities repairs or lack there of Both for staff and inmates.
7. The expense of dressing up an institution for a RD and most of the cameras and security equipment not functioning. Vacated posts VS the window dressing.

Items like this will start to sink in that they are not quite so perfect themselves. We need to hold them accountable. By doing this we will actually save the bureau money to a degree, have WORKING equipment, and be able to maintain a safer working environment.

But, it takes all of us doing it, not just a handful here and there...

I am non union, but I will be holding them accountable for things I see them slacking on that affect me, other staff and the running of the institution overall.

Imagine doing this at all the institutions...

It would certainly be a wake up call.

I rest my case. How many more officers do we have to loose before Congress quits being an ostrich and get thier heads out of the ground. Or better still, lets make them all correctional officers and send the inmates to live in thier homes and do the unthinkable to thier families.

OR, Just ask how many of them would like to be locked in a housing unit alone with 170 rapist, murders, child molesters, drug dealers, bank robbers, faggots,,,,,,,,OH forget the last one, those are probably congress' pages!

Nope. Harley hasn't been instructed on how to react just yet.
